Rendering the remainder of the lowered chimney stack & sealing the gap between the back of the cast iron gutter and the tiles which has been causing damp inside the property.
Installation of new chimney stack flaunch & cowls.
Lowering the redundant chimney stack which has been causing damp inside the property.
Re-bedding & pointing the ridge tiles and re-pointing the failed mortar on the gable end wall/lead chase.
Stripping off the concrete tiles & rotten lath battens to install new breathable membrane pitched roof underlay all the way up the verge from the gutter line to the ridge line & over the apex followed by installation of new tanalised lath battens, drip trays & re-bedding/pointing the tiles at the verge.
Installation of new lead apron at the abutment & sealing the chase.
Stripping off the concrete tiles & lath battens followed by installation of breathable membrane pitched roof underlay at the abutment. When the original roof was installed the under felt was left too short at the top of the roof where it meets the wall at the abutment.
Installation of drip trays, painting the fascia & sealing the air vents to the slates.
Re-pointing the failed mortar on the ridge tiles, sealing the soil pipe to the slates and installation of drip trays at the gutter line.
