The back of this cast iron guttering has completely rusted away & the rain water has been running behind it onto the top of the stone wall. This has led to a serious damp & mould problem inside the property. To remedy this we have removed all the debris from the gutter, thoroughly dried it out & using polyurethane sealed lead to the inside & dressed it onto the stone. This will divert the water into the gutter allowing the wall to dry out. Repairs like this cost a great deal less than replacing the cast iron guttering.

      Thanks for the recommendation to your work colleague. I’m glad to be helping them as it seems they had some bad advice being told they needed a complete re-roof!
