Steel clad sheet repairs.
This flat roof is in dire need of a new deck & cap sheet.
This cement fibre board roof is due to be replaced soon so we have made temporary repairs to prevent further water ingress damaging valuable machinery.
This is our current project that we have just commenced work on. These steel clad sheets have been installed too close to the abutment wall which overhangs the gutter. This has made it impossible to clear the gutter out & in the past the sheets have been badly damaged by folding them back on themselves in order to access the gutter. We will eliminate these problems by cutting back these sheets & installing new ones that can be moved when the gutter needs cleaning out. There have also been problems due to lack of drainage which we will vastly improve.
This flat porch roof was flawed when the house was built because the outlet was the size of a 50 pence piece so the water traffic was unable to drain away causing it to gather in the corner eventually leading to roof failure. To solve the problem we have used the natural slight pitch of the roof to deliver the water into a new gutter & downpipe.
