We have finally completed this timber refurbishment & bird deterrent spikes installation project & we are very proud of the end result. This job was tailored to the customer’s budget, they had quotes to over board it all with UPVC (not quite sure how they were going to do that without losing all the decorative details) the cheapest of which was twice our price & quotes to replace all the timbers with new of which the lowest was four times our price.
Strip & re-cover of slate roof using new lath battens & breathable membrane underlay plus installation of refurbished cast iron gutters & lead aprons below window ledge where the gap was delivering water down the wall of the house causing damp.
