Strip and re-cover of pitched roof using new TLX Batsafe breather membrane. This property has bats nesting in the attic so as advised by the Bat Conservation Trust we are installing this bat friendly membrane which is specially designed so that no fibres can get caught on their claws
Lining the gulley with EPDM rubber and re-fixing the slates plus new code 4 milled lead on the valley gutter
Stripping off the slates, lath battens and lead to install new Proctor’s Roofshield vapour permeable breathable membrane pitched roof underlay and tanalised lath battens
Re-constructing the top of the gable end wall
Removing the dilapidated redundant chimney stack
Gutter clearance
Repairs to the perished bitumen under felt using vapour permeable breathable membrane pitched roof underlay
Stripping off the timber cladding to install new insulation boards and woodgrain effect rosewood UPVC cladding
Replacing the dilapidated cast iron guttering using new black UPVC Ogee guttering and downpipe
