Stripping off the concrete tiles, lath battens and bitumen under felt. When this garage was constructed the pitch of the roof was made far too low for this type of covering. The rain water has got into the building under the felt through the laps due to the lack of flow on the roof. We are converting it into a flat roof with an EPDM rubber cap sheet to solve the problems.
Preparing & sealing the lead gulley, chase on the lead flashings & bonds between the parapet wall coping stones.
Clearing all the debris off the flat roof. Raking out & re-pointing the chase on the ashfelt upstands.
Flat roof inspection and clearance. Cast iron trough gutter clearance and repairs.
Re-rendering the failed areas of old render, sealing the cast iron tough gutter, installation of new stop end, repairs to Trafford sheets & the lead flashings on the lead gulley.
Clearing the cast iron trough gutter in preparation for re-lining & repairs to leaking window cill & frame.

The original product used to top coat this GRP flat roof has started to fail so we have given it a new polyester top coat for long term durability.
